Ear Piercing Policy

Valley Pediatrics is now piercing ears. We use Medi-system.

We will pierce a baby girl’s ears if she is healthy and up-to-date with her 6 month shots.

If the child/teen is over 1 year old, the rules are as follows:

The patient must be healthy and up-to-date on shots.
The patient must be able to do the cleaning and care or be cooperative with the parent doing so.
BOTH patient and parent (if patient under 18 years old) must agree to the procedure.
We will pierce both girls and boys.
We will pierce only the lobe, not the cartilage.
We will only pierce a first hole in the lobe.

Please call to make appointment. We want to make sure we have the earrings you want and that the trained staff person will be available at that time.
