Meet Your Office Staff
|

Kathy Cathcart, Office Manager Kathy Cathcart, our
office manager, has been with Valley Pediatrics since January 2, 1978. She has
watched many generations of families grow up throughout the years, even taken
care of some of the doctors.
Kathy graduated from Villa Julie College in 1978. She did her internship with
Valley Pediatrics, and has been here ever since. Kathy started as a medical
assistant, eventually working her way up to office manager in 1994. Kathy is
often the person to speak to about billing and insurance issues.
Kathy enjoys knitting, reading, and watching the Ravens. She also enjoys
spending time with her husband, Steve, and their children, Drew and Ashley and
their Boston Terrier, Annabelle. Kathy lives in Reisterstown. |

Marsha Goodman Saks, Office Coordinator
Marsha is our office coordinator, and the first person you will
probably see when you come to the front desk. Marsha has been with
us since 1986.
After graduating from Villa Julie College, Marsha worked at a
pediatric office for 9 years. She was then a stay at home Mom for
several years and began work at Valley Pediatrics after her youngest
daughter started school. Marsha was a medical assistant for many
years before becoming our office coordinator. Marsha can assist you
in making appointments for specialists and tests and providing
referrals. She loves hearing from “old” patients who are now
parents.
Marsha and her husband Morris have two children, Karen (and TJ)
and Michelle (and Marshall) and are the proud Grandma and Zadie of
Brendan, Grant, Ian, and Zachary.
Marsha is active in Covenant Guild, Inc. working every year on
its Walk of Love for Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. She is a
member of Beth El Congregation.
Marsha loves spending time with her family and hosting family
functions, especially holidays.

Iris T. Eisenberg, Patient Coordinator Iris
Eisenberg, our Patient Coordinator, has been with Valley Pediatrics for 15
years. She enjoys caring for babies and seeing them grow up.
Iris was born and raised in Baltimore. After graduating from Milford Mill
High School in 1993, she graduated from Medix School in Towson as a certified
Medical Assistant. Iris started her medical career with an externship at Valley
Pediatrics and was hired to become a full time Medical Assistant with us. In
2006, Iris became our Patient Coordinator, but when there is a challenging
procedure, Iris is still the one to call.
In her free time, Iris likes to spend time with family and friends. She
enjoys cooking, shopping, reality TV, exercise and the Ravens. She also likes to
try new restaurants, especially for sushi! Iris is single and lives in
Reisterstown. |

Shante Ferguson, Medical Assistant
Shante Ferguson began working with us in July, 2007. Shante did her externship
at Valley Pediatrics after graduating from Medix School. Shante enjoys seeing
the patients and her unflustered personality helps calm the kids in the office.
Shante graduated from Forest Park High School. For many years, Shante helped
take care of elderly families. When she was ready for something new, Shante
jumped at the opportunity to work in pediatrics and we’re glad she did. Shante’s
personality keeps everyone laughing and on their toes.
Shante lives in Woodlawn with her husband and five sons, aged 2 through 16.
In her free time, which is limited given her big family, Shante enjoys watching
drama TV shows, dancing shows and football. |

Erica Stull, Medical Assistant Erica Stull, our
newest Medical Assistant, began working at Valley Pediatrics in 2009. She did
her externship at Valley after completing the Medical Assistance program at
Medix School and quickly adjusted to the fast pace of the office and has easily
fit in like a veteran.
Erica went to Westminster High School. After working at a nursing home for
many years, Erica was ready for a change and ready to work with kids.
Erica enjoys spending time with her teenage sons, Darius and Brian, a
daughter, Arianna, and the family dog, Gabby. Erica currently lives in
Westminster. |
