These visits provide valuable opportunities to monitor developmental milestones—especially during the first few years of life—while also giving parents time to discuss questions or concerns about their child’s health. We recommend establishing one primary clinician for your family so your provider can build a strong understanding of your child’s needs and development over time. Well-child visits are important for parents as well, and we encourage you to write down any questions in advance so they can be fully addressed during your appointment.

When your child is sick, timely medical care can make all the difference in helping them feel better and begin healing as quickly as possible. We understand how stressful it can be for parents when a child isn’t feeling well, which is why we offer same-day sick visits whenever possible to promptly evaluate symptoms and start appropriate treatment. If you have concerns about your child’s health or think a sick visit is needed, please call our office so our team can discuss your child’s symptoms and schedule the most appropriate appointment based on their individual needs.

Telehealth, or a virtual visit, allows your child to be seen by one of our physicians through secure video conferencing, offering a convenient way to receive care without coming into the office. Virtual visits are provided by your regular pediatrician, who knows your child’s medical history and has full access to their health records, ensuring continuity of care. While telehealth is appropriate for certain acute concerns and discussion-based visits, it is not suitable for all conditions, and in-person appointments may be recommended.

To ensure timely and efficient care for all our patients, we ask that appointments be scheduled in advance. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we will do our best to work you back into the schedule or may offer an appointment with another provider if available. Out of consideration for other families and their scheduled visit times, we may need to ask you to reschedule your appointment if we are unable to accommodate a late arrival.

Our practice provides after hours care with 24/7/365 on-call coverage to support your family whenever concerns arise. When the office is closed, simply call our main number to choose whether to leave a message for the next business day or speak directly with the on-call clinician. During nighttime hours, families may also have the option to schedule a telemedicine visit through Hello Pediatrics. For routine questions such as mild illnesses, appointment scheduling, or prescription refills, we kindly ask that you contact us during regular office hours or send a message through the patient portal.
