Rona L Stein has been practicing Pediatrics in the Pikesville / Owings Mills area for over 20 years, with Valley Pediatrics since 1996. Dr. Stein received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. She moved to Baltimore and completed her training in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland. After residency graduation, she worked with the Foster Care program in Baltimore City and was Director of the Newborn Nursery at University of Maryland Medical Center, where she also taught medical students and residents in Pediatrics.
Dr. Stein lives in Baltimore with her husband, Steve. Their two children, Dan and Hannah, have moved to Pittsburgh and Arlington respectively, hopefully temporarily. Dr. Stein enjoys cooking, baking bread, gardening, and playing Words with Friends.
Dr. Stein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Maryland Chapter of the AAP, and a member of Med Chi, The Maryland State Medical Society. She is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
